Video still from the video "My Grandmother's Bathroom", 2014 - 2022

The video "My Grandmother's Bathroom" was part of the multi-channel video installation "Soviet Baroque," which was first exhibited at Yogallery in Vienna in 2022. The video was shot in my grandmother's apartment, where I portrayed myself in various roles, recorded the process, and combined the footage to create video collages. For the video scenes, I used personal items, clothes, and furniture found in the apartment. The main focus of the videos was to explore the development of early childhood sexuality, fears, and potential traumas associated with it. The setting of the petit-bourgeois apartment served as the stage for this exploration.
