During the performance I spent three hours in a closed room. The visitor could look inside the room through one lens which created an inverted image of the performance behind the wall. In the room I was reproducing motifs from Francesca Woodman's photographs. She is known for her black and white photos mostly featuring herself in surrealistic environments, and also for her tragic life (she killed herself at the age of 22).
