Iterating the Hieronymus Bosch painting „The Garden of Earthly Delights“, the video collage „Altar“ features a pyramid made of champagne glasses which is inhabited by identical clones of myself. They interact with elements taken from porn movies which have been digitally edited, abstracted and newly structured.
An example of this is the 3D generated sphere covered with an animated video loop. It depicts a rectal prolapse. The prolapse ball goes from the top, where it was born in the course of a ritual, down through the champagne tower and thereby animates the clones. In this way, the inside of the body takes on a life of its own and becomes the protagonist of the video.

The projection screen installed in the corner of the gallery space refers to the so-called red corner. In Eastern-Orthodox homes it is the place where the religious icon is traditionally placed.
